An FTP server with many security features, intended for servers of any size. SSL Support; Server level certificate creation; OTP S/Key User ID and Password Encryption; Require SSL connections for specific user accounts. Serv-U includes numerous tools to help you administer your FTP server: Quotas give you control over how much a user/group uploads and downloads; User defined anti-hammering parameters prevents wasting bandwidth on repeated attempts to connect to your server; Throttling the bandwidth allowed for a user/group lets you assign your bandwidth to higher priority users; Individual bandwidth throttling for different upload & download limits; Ratios can be setup for size or files across a single or all session to ensure users upload/download first. Serv-U features an open architecture that makes it easy to extend, monitor, and change the server behavior with external DLLs.
Trial period: 30 days. Once the trial period has expired, Serv-U will continue to function indefinitely as the Personal edition (One domain with a maximum of 2 concurrent connections; No more than 5 user accounts; No directory mapping or links; No UL/DL ratios, quotas, or remote administration.)
